Chicken wings
Here is a simple recipe for delicious chicken wings. Enjoy your crispy and flavourful chicken wings!
- 2 lbs about 1 kg chicken wings, separated into flats and drumettes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 cup 120ml hot sauce (adjust according to your spice preference)
- 1/4 cup 60g unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons honey optional, for sweetness
- Vegetable oil for frying
Season the wings:
In a bowl, mix together salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika. Season the chicken wings with this mixture evenly.
Make the sauce:
In a separate bowl, mix together the hot sauce, melted butter, and honey (if using). Adjust the amount of hot sauce according to your preference for spiciness.
Serve:
Once done, remove from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes. Serve your delicious chicken wings with your favorite dipping sauce, celery sticks, and carrot sticks.
