They have a slightly gamey flavor that is characteristic of lamb, and they can be paired with a variety of sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or rice.

Ingredients
  

  • lb lamb chops
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp onion powder
  • 1/4 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/4 tsp dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup white wine
  • 1/4 cup chicken broth
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley chopped

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • In a small bowl, combine olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, and thyme.
  • Rub the spice mixture into the lamb chops.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat.
  • Add lamb chops to the skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes per side, or until browned.
  • Remove lamb chops from the skillet and place them in a baking dish.
  • Add white wine, chicken broth, and lemon juice to the skillet.
  • Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Pour the sauce over the lamb chops.
  • Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until lamb chops are cooked through.
  • Sprinkle with parsley and serve.
