Cobb salad
Feel free to customise this recipe based on your preferences, such as adding or omitting ingredients or using a different dressing.
Ingredients
- 2 heads of romaine lettuce chopped
- 2 cooked chicken breasts diced
- 6 slices of bacon cooked until crispy and crumbled
- 3 hard-boiled eggs chopped
- 2 ripe avocados diced
- 2 medium tomatoes diced
- 1 cup crumbled blue cheese
- 1 cup diced cucumber
- 1/4 cup sliced green onions optional
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Ranch dressing
Instructions
- Begin by arranging the chopped romaine lettuce in a large salad bowl or on a serving platter.
- Arrange the diced chicken, crispy bacon crumbles, chopped hard-boiled eggs, diced avocado, diced tomatoes, crumbled blue cheese, diced cucumber, and sliced green onions (if using) on top of the lettuce in neat rows or sections.
- Season the salad with salt and pepper to taste.
- Drizzle ranch dressing (or your preferred dressing) over the top of the salad, or serve it on the side.
- Serve immediately, allowing each person to mix their salad as they prefer, or you can toss everything together gently before serving.
